Events: The Listing Tour
The Grassroots Disaster Preparedness Listening Tour is a series of conversations across North Carolina with the people who lived through recent disasters and the people who stepped up to help, whether it was their community or not. Come tell us what worked, what didn’t, and what is still hard, because you know things no outside expert ever will. What you share shapes what we build: a grassroots disaster network rooted in neighbors helping neighbors, set up before a disaster, not scrambled together after one.
Can’t make it to a stop?
The tour is only part of the listening. If you lived through a disaster, helped a community respond, or supported from wherever you were, we want to hear from you too. Your experience matters just as much whether you are in the room or not.
Share your story through our survey. Most questions are optional, and you can share as much or as little as you like. You can also answer without giving your name.
